My first breakfast!

This is so exciting that I am actually starting to blog. I have been thinking about starting this for way too long!
I woke up at 10 this morning because we just returned home late last night from our vacation in Florida. Usually I try to get up around 7 or 8, so having breakfast at 10:30 is extremely late for me, but I think my body needed the rest. This morning I started off with a large glass of water and then made my favorite tea in my favorite Oprah mug! Then I made pumpkin-less oatmeal because my mom threw out the pumpkin I had been saving in the fridge.

In this oatmeal went:
- 1/2 cup Quaker Old Fashioned Oats
- Over 1 cup of water
- pumpkin pie spice, vanilla, pinch of salt
- handful of raisins
- 1/2 a sliced banana
- spoonful of natural almond butter
It was good but I missed my pumpkin!! My plan for the day is to get a few things done at my desk, get to the gym and the bank, and then come home and make a delicious late lunch with the ingredients we just got from the grocery store this morning. Yum-o. I can’t wait for it! Have a great day!
